Mathematical Biology BSc (Hons) Program Details

The University of Dundee offers a Mathematical Biology BSc (Hons) program through the School of Science and Engineering.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for the program, applicants must meet specific entry requirements.

• For students starting at Level 1, an overall pass with an average of grade 11 in the Baccalaurťat is required, with Mathematics as the essential subject.
• For students starting at Level 2, an overall pass with an average of grade 14 in the Baccalaurťat is required, with Mathematics as the essential subject.

English Language Requirements

Applicants must also meet the English language requirements for the program.

• The minimum IELTS Academic score required is 6.0 overall, with 6.0 in Writing, 5.5 in Listening, 5.5 in Reading, and 5.5 in Speaking.
• Other accepted English language qualifications include LANGUAGECERT Academic, LanguageCert ESOL for UKVI, Pearsons (PTE Academic UKVI), TOEFL iBT, and Trinity ISE, with a minimum grade of 60 in English.

For international students who do not meet the English language requirements, the university offers pre-sessional English courses.

The Mathematical Biology BSc (Hons) program is a 4-year program for students starting at Level 1, or a 3-year program for students starting at Level 2.
