The Kansas State University Army ROTC program is designed to develop leadership skills and prepare students for a career as an Army Officer. With a rich history dating back to 1863, the program has been commissioning leaders of character for the nation's army.

Army ROTC gives students the opportunity to take Military Science courses alongside their academic studies while developing unmatched leadership skills for success in any career. The program offers:


  • Enroll during freshman or sophomore year with no obligation to the Army
  • Build the foundation of leadership, discipline, and tactical skills that prepare students to succeed as an Army Officer
  • Compete for merit-based scholarships that can cover the full cost of tuition and expand educational opportunities

Program Details
