Course Description

DANCE 599 - Yoga is a course that introduces students to the fundamentals of Yoga postures and breathing, sequencing of exercises for a safe practice, ten or more postures, and an introduction to the history and philosophy of Yoga.


Course Requirements

  • Students are required to have a yoga/exercise mat.
  • Students should wear comfortable clothing that allows a full range of movement.
    • It is recommended not to eat for at least two hours before the class.
