Introduction to the Interior Design Program
The Interior Design program at Kansas State University is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to create environments that promote human well-being and sustainability. The program emphasizes human-centered design, ecological theory, and creative practice, preparing students for a career in interior design that is rooted in impact and innovation.
Program Overview
The Interior Design program is a four-year Bachelor of Science in Interior Design (B.S. ID) degree that is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) and the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD). The program meets the educational requirements for the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) Exam.

Accreditation
The Interior Design program is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) and the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).
