Introduction

The Informatica e Matematica PhD program is offered by the University of Bari Aldo Moro. The program is coordinated by Prof.ssa Francesca Mazzia and is administered by the Dipartimento di Informatica.

Curricula

The program offers two curricula:

1. INFORMATICA (Settori Scientifico disciplinari: INF/01, ING-INF/05)
2. MATEMATICA (Settori Scientifico disciplinari: MAT02, MAT/03, MAT/04, MAT05, MAT06, MAT07, MAT08)

• 1 position with a scholarship funded by the PNRR in conjunction with Eusoft s.r.l., with a theme focused on Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HCAI) techniques
• 1 position with a scholarship funded by the PNRR in conjunction with Auriga S.p.A., with a theme focused on Investigating XAI techniques to help users defend against phishing attacks
• 1 position with a scholarship funded by the PNRR in conjunction with Planetek Italia Srl, with a theme focused on Low-rank models for the analysis of Earth Observation data
• 1 position with a scholarship funded by the PNRR in conjunction with Exprivia SpA, with a theme to be determined
• 1 position with a scholarship funded by the PNRR in conjunction with Lutech SpA, with a theme focused on Quantum Machine Learning: Algorithms and Practical Applications
• 1 position with a scholarship funded by the PNRR in conjunction with Exprivia SpA, with a theme focused on Analisi e valorizzazione del patrimonio artistico mediante Intelligenza Artificiale
• 1 position with a scholarship funded by the PNRR in conjunction with Exprivia SpA, with a theme focused on Riconoscimento di emozioni dei lavoratori della conoscenza tramite sensori biometrici non invasivi
• 1 position with a scholarship funded by the PNRR in conjunction with Auriga S.p.A., with a theme focused on Qualità e sicurezza dei sistemi basati su Machine Learning
• 1 position with a scholarship funded by the Istituto Tumori IRCCS Giovanni Paolo II di Bari, with a theme focused on Approcci numerici di tipo low-rank per la deconvoluzione e l'analisi di dati GEP in oncoematologia
• 1 position for industrial/intersettorial doctoral research for employees of Niteko, with a theme focused on Sistema di intelligenza artificiale per la guida autonoma di veicoli terrestri

Duration

The program lasts for 3 years.
