Program Overview

The Master's Degree Course in Economics and Management (EM) is designed to provide a specialized study path aimed at training individuals to enter the job market and cover top-level roles, either managerial or consulting, within companies and institutions, public and private, operating in industrial, manufacturing, and service sectors. Students will deepen their understanding of methods for analyzing and critically interpreting data, structures, business dynamics, and markets, through the acquisition of skills present in the traditional disciplinary areas of business sciences, economics, quantitative sciences, and law.

Curriculum Structure

The training path is articulated into three curricula:

  • Mercati, Strategie e Organizzazione (Markets, Strategies, and Organization)
  • Marketing
  • Management delle Amministrazioni Pubbliche (Management of Public Administrations) The first year includes common teachings, while the second year includes differentiated teachings based on the curriculum.

Curriculum Details

Mercati, Strategie e Organizzazione

This curriculum provides specialized skills useful for a systematic and integrated vision of managerial and administrative profiles of direction and coordination offices, as well as skills on the functioning of resource, goods, and services markets. This aims to favor the ability to propose adequate industrial and regulatory policies.

Marketing

The Marketing curriculum provides knowledge in the marketing area regarding theoretical concepts and operational issues, even in contexts of high complexity and lack of complete information. It develops critical and analytical skills aimed at personal elaboration of concepts and models for development in research activities or operational applications in professional contexts.

Management delle Amministrazioni Pubbliche

This curriculum provides advanced-level training on public management themes, public policy analysis, and related application areas. It is designed to operate in professional environments, public and private, oriented towards improving public action at an international, national, and local level. For this curriculum, all second-year lessons will be delivered remotely in synchronous mode.

Internationalization

The Course of Study, thanks to the activation of a convention with the Université de Lorraine (France), allows students to achieve a double degree, assuming the connotation of an International Course, in accordance with the provisions of DM 1059/2013. The Department promotes international mobility through programs like Erasmus+ and Global Thesis, offering the opportunity to carry out study or traineeship periods abroad. Particular attention is dedicated to the teaching of foreign languages as an essential tool to support the internationalization of training.
