Program Overview
The Master's Degree in Economics of Intermediaries and Financial Markets (EIMF) aims to train professionals who can respond to the changing needs of financial and insurance intermediaries and understand the technical, economic, and legal characteristics of corporate finance and financial markets, including international ones. The course is structured to provide theoretical and practical tools for analyzing and managing risks related to markets and affecting the activities of financial, insurance, and non-financial companies.
Course Structure
The program is characterized by a balance between economic, business, legal, and quantitative subjects, offering the possibility to understand the characteristics, evolution, and criticalities of the financial world as a whole. Topics related to corporate finance, financial markets, and mathematical finance techniques are addressed in a coherent and consequential manner, as well as the legal study of the financial context and the management of risks and financial and insurance intermediaries.
Teaching Methods
The course proposes, in addition to traditional frontal teaching, seminars and testimonies from sector experts, as well as exercises and business cases. The Department promotes international mobility through programs such as Erasmus+ and Global Thesis, offering the opportunity to spend periods of study or traineeship abroad. Particular attention is dedicated to the teaching of foreign languages, an essential tool for supporting the internationalization of training.
