Program Objectives
The program aims to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills for the management of green spaces in urban and territorial contexts, as well as the management of forests and protected areas. It seeks to form two main professional profiles:
- A technician for the management of green spaces, capable of managing and designing urban green areas, ornamental tree species, parks, gardens, and urban forestry. This includes the management and maintenance of technical green areas at urban and peri-urban levels.
- A technician for the management of forests and protected areas, capable of collaborating in the planning and realization of forest management and reforestation interventions, ecological planning of forest territories, rural constructions, conservation and enhancement of plant and animal biodiversity, and collaboration in the drafting of territorial plans.
Educational Approach
The program is designed to provide applied knowledge through exercises in each course and the realization of thematic laboratories, where project activities, technical visits, or applicative in-depth analyses are carried out. The first two years are characterized by the acquisition of common knowledge and skills, after which students can specialize in one of the two profiles.
