Program Overview
The Nutrition Science for Human Health program is a master's degree course that focuses on nutrition science for human health.
Admission Requirements
To be admitted to the program, candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in one of the following classes:
- L02 Degrees in Biotechnology
- L13 Degrees in Biological Sciences
- L26 Degrees in Food Science and Technology
- L29 Degrees in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technologies
- L/SNT03 Degrees in Technical Health Professions (limited to Dietetics)
- LM06 Master's Degrees in Biology
- LM07,08,09 Master's Degrees in Biotechnology
- LM13 Master's Degrees in Pharmacy and Industrial Pharmacy
- LM41 Master's Degrees in Medicine and Surgery
- LM46 Master's Degrees in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics
- LM70 Master's Degrees in Food Science and Technology
In addition to a laurea degree in one of the listed classes, candidates must also meet the following curricular requirements:
- At least 6 CFU in the FIS sector (from FIS/01 to FIS/08)
- At least 6 CFU in the CHIM sector (from CHIM/01 to CHIM/11)
- At least 30 CFU in the "Biomedical Disciplines" area (from BIO/09 to BIO/19; MED/04, MED/07, MED/42, MED/49), with at least 6 CFU in each of the BIO/09, BIO/10, and BIO/11 sectors
- Knowledge of at least one European Union language besides Italian (level B2)
Admission Procedure
The verification of the possession of curricular requirements and personal preparation will be carried out by the Council of the Degree Course, based on the criteria mentioned above, through an interview in which a special commission, composed of teachers of the Degree Course in Nutrition Sciences for Human Health, will evaluate any cases of deviation from the required curricular requirements and verify that the candidate has sufficient skills in the scientific-disciplinary sectors indicated above.
Enrollment
After obtaining eligibility, candidates can proceed with enrollment through the online secretariat Esse3. It is not possible to deliver any paper documentation directly. For information on the enrollment procedure through the online secretariat Esse3, please contact the Student Secretariat.
Students who plan to graduate in the extraordinary sessions can enroll by March 31. They can attend the courses of the disciplines scheduled for the first semester and take the related exams, but only from the first exam session scheduled after the regularization of the enrollment. They cannot take any intermediate tests before the regularization of the enrollment.
