Program Overview


Program Overview

The SnabbspÍr program is designed for foreign agronomers, aiming to provide a pathway for academic professionals with international degrees equivalent to an agronomist or hortonomist. The program is conducted in three rounds, with the first two rounds administered by the Department of Crop Production Ecology, Division of Agricultural Systems and Soil Science, and the third round by the Faculty of Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, and Crop Production Science, Unit for Collaboration and Development, in collaboration with SLU.


Program Structure

The program consists of three main components:


  • Inledande yrkessvenska via Academicum (two months)
  • Theoretical education at SLU (three months)
  • Final practical training at a company via Arbetsf—rmedlingen (four months)

  • The program spans 13 weeks, full-time, at an advanced level.
  • A total of 75 participants are enrolled in the program.
  • SLU is responsible for the distance educational setup of the entire program, teaching in sub-courses, and mentoring participants.
