Admission Requirements

To be admitted to the Master's program in Agronomics and National Economics, the following requirements must be met:

• A Bachelor's degree of at least 180 credits
• At least 90 credits with a focus on national economics
• At least 15 credits in a Bachelor's thesis in national economics
• At least 45 credits in agronomy-profiled courses
• At least 15 credits in agricultural science
• 15 credits in statistics
• 30 credits in business administration
• 7.5 credits in agricultural economics at the G2F level
• Knowledge equivalent to the requirement for Swedish for basic eligibility at the undergraduate level

Exam Requirements

The Master's program in Agronomics and National Economics leads to a Master's degree with a major in Economics. The program can also, in combination with the Bachelor's program in Agricultural Economics, enable the fulfillment of the requirements for an agronomist degree.

Program Content

The education to become an agronomist is a 5-year professional education that, through a combination of a Bachelor's and a Master's program, includes studies at both basic and advanced levels. The main purpose of the Master's program is to, in combination with the Bachelor's program in Agricultural Economics, enable an agronomist degree with a focus on national economics. The program also enables a Master's degree.
