Admission Requirements
- Basic Eligibility: A bachelor's degree of at least 180 credits or equivalent foreign degree.
- Special Eligibility: At least 90 credits in business economics.
- English Proficiency: Equivalent to English 6, fulfilled by having a bachelor's degree from a Swedish university or through other means for international students.
Program Structure
- The first year provides in-depth knowledge of the global forest sector, business economics (marketing and value chains), and some national economics (markets and market functions), along with a course in leadership.
- The second year deepens knowledge in business economics, sustainability, and sustainability reporting, as well as research methods.
- The program includes a master's thesis, allowing students to further deepen their knowledge in a specific area by applying their skills and approaches within the main field of study.
Career Opportunities
- The program prepares students for careers where business economics and forestry competence are combined, with a focus on sustainability and bioeconomy, such as in the forest sector, consulting firms, forest industrial companies, banking and insurance sector, authorities, interest organizations, and certification companies.
