Training for new facilities manager
Overview
The training is intended for those who are new to the role of facilities manager. The education will provide knowledge of regulations and routines regarding fixed assets and inventories. Participation is mandatory for new role holders.

New holders of the facility manager role.

- Knowledge of current regulations and guidelines for fixed assets.
- Knowledge of SLU's facilities register and information needs regarding facilities/inventories.
- Knowledge of SLU's inventory routines.
- Knowledge of economic administration and routines in connection with the purchase and disposal of inventory.
- Knowledge of current depreciation times.

- Government regulations regarding fixed assets
- SLU specific routines and guidelines
- Fixed assets, short-term inventories, property requiring anti-theft protection
- The process from purchase to disposal
- The administrative process for investment decisions
- Posting of invoices in Proceedo regarding fixed assets and inventories
- The facility register in Unit4 ERP
- Depreciation times
- Inventory of fixed assets
- Disposal of fixed assets and inventories
- Sales and trade-ins
- Current routines at the institution
- Bookkeeping of fixed assets

The course takes one day.
