Program Overview

Electronics and Computer Engineering Program

The field of Electronics and Computer Engineering (ECE) is one of the most rapidly developing fields of engineering. Almost everything we use and rely on in our everyday lives has an electrical, electronic, and computing component.

Mission

The Electronics and Computer Engineering program aims to provide students with a distinguished educational level by providing graduates with the theoretical foundations and applications necessary to solve problems in a scientific manner and awareness of the important role played by specialised engineering in the industrial community in Egypt and abroad.

Objectives

Graduates of the Electronics and Computer Engineering program will meet the requirements of sustainable development of society in order to achieve environmental preservation with their ability to continuous self-learning. They will perform the following roles:

  • A scientifically and technically integrated engineer and a skilled practitioner of the profession of electronics, communications and computer engineering.
  • A researcher capable of identifying engineering problems in the fields of electronics, communications, and computer engineering.
  • A member of a work team in local or international institutions, capable of successful career advancement in his field of specialization to assume leadership positions.
  • An influential entrepreneur in the fields of electronics, communications, and computer engineering.

Skills & Career Path

The program offers two specializations:

  1. Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE)
  2. Computer Engineering (CE) ECE Careers and Market Needs include:
  • Communication Systems Engineer and Designer
  • Software and Hardware Integration Engineer
  • Intelligent Systems Engineer
  • Internet and Intranet Specialist
  • Software Engineer & Designer
