The Civil and Construction Engineering (CCE) program is a 144-credit hour program that offers a unique and modern model focusing on the growing needs in Egypt and the MENA region. The program provides multiple specialties, including the use of sustainable materials, design of smart cities, design of smart concrete and steel structures, and construction project management.

Program Description

Civil Engineering is the basis of development and economic growth in societies, as it affects almost all aspects of civilized life. The CCE program curriculum includes learning coding, integration of AI and data analytics tools, application of computer software such as Revit and BIM, which are needed nowadays in all design, construction, operation, and maintenance aspects. The program includes two majors to select from: Construction Engineering & Management, and Smart Structural Engineering, in addition to optional minors in various fields such as Architecture, Machine Learning, Industry 4.0, and more.

Mission

The program's mission is to prepare graduates for professional careers in civil and construction engineering, capable of utilizing smart design concepts and materials, and adopting sustainable planning, operation, and maintenance. The program provides undergraduates with high-quality education, using modern teaching, learning, and research methodologies, to acquire competencies of innovation, entrepreneurship, long-life learning, communication, leadership, and teamwork.
