Program Overview

The Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Data Science Computer Science is a 12-credit program that can be completed online or through residential study. This program focuses on data science concepts within the field of computer science, including computational techniques and machine learning, as well as prerequisite knowledge such as probability and regression.

Program Objectives

The program aims to help students develop essential skills, including:

Prerequisite Courses

To succeed in the program, students are required to have a foundation in the following areas:

• Programming and Data Structures (equivalent to CSCI 261-262)
• Linear Algebra (equivalent to MATH 332)
• Probability (equivalent to MATH 334) Students must have completed these courses or their equivalents at another institution with a grade of B or higher.
