Program Options

Computer Science Major with Focus on CS + Robotics and Intelligent Systems

Students can major in computer science and choose a focus on CS + Robotics and Intelligent Systems. This focus area combines computer science coursework with several courses from the Departments of Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering.

Minor Degree in Robotics and Intelligent Systems

Alternatively, students in any major on campus can complete a computer science-focused minor degree in Robotics and Intelligent Systems. This minor program enables students to learn how to bring life to systems and give machines the ability to operate autonomously.

• In contrast to many engineering disciplines, which focus on the physical creation and kinematics of robots and intelligent systems, the CS + Robotics and Intelligent Systems program provides a unique perspective on robotics.
