Program Overview


Introduction to the 311 Cultivation Project

The 311 Cultivation Project is a collaborative effort between the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Chinese universities to cultivate world-class, professional, and innovative talents. This project aims to provide students with a platform to adapt to overseas learning and transition into NUS's academic rhythm.


Overview of the Project

The project is designed for third-year students from domestic cooperative universities. Students will complete their first three years of study at their home university and then spend one year at the NUS Suzhou Research Institute, where they will take courses in English. After completing their undergraduate degree, students who meet the admission requirements for NUS's master's program can pursue their master's degree at NUS.


Project Fees

The fees for the project are as follows:


  • The tuition fee for the bridging course at the NUS Suzhou Research Institute is 80,000 RMB.
  • The accommodation fee is 2,200 RMB per year.
  • The tuition fee for the master's program at NUS is fixed, regardless of the duration of study, and is approximately 55,590 SGD for the 2025 academic year.

Application Requirements

To apply for the project, students must meet the following requirements:


  • Be a third-year student at a cooperative university
  • Apply for the ISEM major
  • Have a weighted average score of 82 or above
  • Meet the English language requirements (TOEFL score of 85 or above, or IELTS score of 6.0 or above)
  • Pass an interview and other assessments

Application Timeline

The application period for the project is from January 26, 2026, to March 29, 2026.


Required Application Materials

Applicants must submit the following materials:


  • Color scans of their transcripts and proof of professional ranking
  • Color scans of their TOEFL or IELTS scores
  • If they do not have TOEFL or IELTS scores, they can submit their CET-4 or CET-6 scores

Application Procedure

The application procedure is as follows:


  • Submit the required materials and information to the designated teacher by March 27, 2026
  • Log in to the NUS Suzhou Research Institute website to complete the application
  • Participate in an interview with the NUS Suzhou Research Institute
  • Receive the admission results and student list after the interview
