Introduction to the 2021 Tomsk University Winter Online Course Project
The 2021 Tomsk University Winter Online Course Project is a unique opportunity for students to engage with various topics in the field of management. The project is designed to familiarize participants with multiple subjects, including business strategy development and redesign, market entry, special economic zones, global marketing mix, business communication, problem-solving and decision-making, corporate social responsibility, and doing business with Chinese partners.
Project Details
Project Time
The project will take place from January 18, 2021, to January 29, 2021.
Project Content
The course will cover a range of topics, including:
- Business strategy development and redesign
- Market entry
- Special economic zones
- Global marketing mix
- Business communication
- Problem-solving and decision-making
- Corporate social responsibility
- Doing business with Chinese partners
The courses will be taught by the main teachers of the Tomsk University School of Economics and Management, international partners and members of the board of directors, the main teachers of the Chinese department, managers of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and managers of international companies.
Interactive Roundtable Conference
The project will include an interactive roundtable conference with academic and business speakers on the topic "How Transnational Corporations Respond to Trade Wars and Competition between Economic Powers."
Course Structure
The winter course includes 20 hours of online classes (2 hours per day, 80 minutes per class).
Certificate
Upon completion of the course, students will receive a certificate that can be included in their personal file when applying for admission and will have the right to receive additional points for competitive admission.
Academic Credit Recognition
For Undergraduates
- Undergraduates who participate in overseas university exchange projects to take courses or participate in professional internships can have their credits recognized if the course content and teaching requirements are consistent with or similar to those of our university.
- Undergraduates who participate in short-term cultural exchange projects or online cultural lectures and courses can have their credits counted towards their second-class grades.
For Graduate Students
- Graduate students who participate in overseas university exchange projects can have their credits recognized if the course content is the same as or similar to that of our university.
- Graduate students can also have their credits recognized as UPC Intensive Curricula (UPCIC) credits if the course content differs significantly from that of our university.
Payment of Foreign University Fees
The tuition fee for this course is 14,200 Russian rubles (approximately 1,300 Chinese yuan).
UPC International Exchange Scholarship
Students who participate in the project can apply for the "Global Dream Assistance Scholarship" (application requirements and process can be found in the group), with a subsidy of 1,000 yuan for online projects and 3,000 yuan for offline projects.
Eligibility
All interested undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to apply.
Application Procedure
- Students who wish to participate in the project must fill out the "Tomsk University Winter Online Course Registration Form" and submit it by January 13.
- Students must also fill out the "China University of Petroleum (East China) Undergraduate Overseas Study Exchange Project Application Form" or the "China University of Petroleum (East China) Graduate Overseas Study Exchange Project Application Form" after being accepted into the project.
