Program Overview
Environmental Studies Program
The Environmental Studies program offers a six-year accelerated course of study leading to a B.A. or B.S. in Environmental Studies and the J.D. degree.
Program Overview
The program is designed for students who wish to complete their undergraduate and law degrees in an accelerated timeframe. To be eligible, students must identify themselves as majors wishing to complete the accelerated program and must have completed at least 90 credit hours of undergraduate coursework.
Requirements and Admission Criteria
- Students must have completed all requirements for the Environmental Studies B.A. or B.S. degree, as well as all general education requirements, by the end of their junior year.
- A minimum GPA of 3.25 is required.
- Students must take the LSAT and score at or above the median LSAT score for the previous year's entering class at the College of Law.
- Upon acceptance into the College of Law, students will matriculate in the fall of their senior year.
Program Structure
- Up to 30 hours of law courses will count toward the final 30 credits of the undergraduate degree.
- The final two years of the program will follow the standard College of Law timetable.
Degree Outcomes
The program leads to the conferral of both a B.A. or B.S. in Environmental Studies and a J.D. degree upon successful completion of all requirements.
