Program Overview


Bachelor of Science in Management

The management program equips students with the skills and mindset to lead people, projects, and organizations effectively in a wide range of industries. The program offers three major emphasis areas: Entrepreneurship and Social Responsibility, Human Resource Management, and Leadership and Management.


Entrepreneurship and Social Responsibility

This area equips students with the business skills to drive innovation, launch new ventures, and create meaningful impact within organizations. Key aspects of this emphasis include:

Leadership and Management

Retention Requirements

To continue as a management major and enroll in 300- or 400-level management courses, students must meet specific criteria:


  • Complete MGMT 335, FINA 320, MKTG 310, and OMIS 338 with a C or better grade
  • Submit a completed transcript review form to the Department of Management during the semester in which they are enrolled in MGMT 335
  • Meet the cumulative GPA requirement set by the Department of Management to enroll in required 300- and 400-level courses, with a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher

Degree Requirements

The Bachelor of Science in Management degree requires students to complete a set of core courses and electives, as well as choose a major emphasis area. The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in management, preparing them for careers in a variety of industries.
