• First-year students: High School GPA of 3.0 or higher guarantees general NIU admission.
• Transfer students: ALL COLLEGES GPA of 2.0 or higher guarantees general NIU admission, and a GPA of 3.0 or higher guarantees a renewable merit scholarship.
