This program provides students with the opportunity to earn digital badges, which can be displayed on platforms like LinkedIn, and discussed with potential employers.

How the Program Works

Students can earn points towards badges by participating in various activities, such as:

• Engaging with Career Services
• Attending campus events
• Joining clubs or organizations
• Participating in athletics Different activities have different point values, and students can track their progress using the Suitable digital badging app.

Reporting Career Experiences

Students can report and reflect on their career experiences to earn their career and self-development badge. This includes:

• Internships: applying classroom skills to real-world situations
• Co-ops: paid, full-time work tied to their major
• Clinical/Practicum: supervised fieldwork in education, social work, counseling, or healthcare
• Employment: past or current, on-campus or off-campus, related or not related to their major
• Forage job simulations: virtual projects from real companies
• Job shadowing and short-term experiences: exploring career paths
