Affordable Housing and Community Development Finance

The Advanced Certificate Program in Affordable Housing and Community Development Finance provides students with domain-specific knowledge as well as a deep understanding of interrelationships between urban & regional development, housing markets (especially affordable housing market), and financing of public infrastructure and services.


Program Details

  • The certificate program is open to matriculated students enrolled in any graduate program at San José State University (SJSU).
  • The program is also open to students who hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, non-matriculated students may register for courses through SJSU Open University.
  • Current graduate students interested in our Advanced Certificate Program should consult with the URBP Graduate Advisor prior to beginning course work.
