Welcome to Keele and North Staffordshire Teacher Education (KNSTE). As a School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) provider, we have a partnership of over 120 schools, who work closely with Shaw Education Trust and Keele University to offer high quality teacher education.
Our SCITT includes primary, special and middle schools and comprises a mixture of large and small, urban and rural, faith schools, local authority and academy settings.
We value both the scholarship and practice of teaching. This means that you will examine and consider different teaching strategies in addition to exploring how pupils learn. We think this is vital if you are to truly reflect on the impact that you are having on enabling pupils to progress.
