Primary PGCE with QTS
Overview
The Primary PGCE with QTS is a one-year, full-time program that prepares students for a career in primary education. The program is designed to meet the requirements of the Initial Teacher Training Core Content Framework (ITTCCF) and is underpinned by research-informed practice.

Entry Requirements
- 2:2 previous degree
- GCSEs (and equivalents) in English, Mathematics, and Science (or equivalent)
- School observation experience
- DBS check
- Irish applicants must check specific requirements
- Writing ability at a high level

- Placements are within one hour's travel of the trainee's term-time address
- Each school placement must be completed successfully before proceeding to the next

- Catholic Certificate in Religious Studies (CCRS) available for those intending to teach in Roman Catholic and other Christian schools
