Program Overview

The world of business is constantly changing and with this the increased need for innovative thinkers and leaders to manage commercial challenges. Use this qualification to explore a career in change management.

Within this programme you will learn how to identify the vital changes that need to be made for business to thrive, as well as the leadership skills to direct the modifications required in the turbulent ever changing world of business in New Zealand and internationally.

Studies also include project management, leadership, organisational behaviour, business transformation and change and strategic management.

You will develop the theory and practical application elements of change management, strategic planning, project management and leadership through an industry project as part of your work placement.

Graduates with prior relevant workplace experience are likely to earn substantially above the graduated earnings indicated in the KIS (above). Part-time up to 4 years.

As a graduate you will be ready to take on roles in project leadership, change management/advisement, coaching, management consulting, training/learning and development, strategic management, performance management and organisational development.

Our graduate diplomas in Human Resources Management, Business Information Systems or Innovation and Entrepreneurship would be ideal complement to this qualification.
