Housing services
There are currently rooms available to book in both our Meridian Court and Maltings residences. These residences are just outside of the city centre and both come with a complementary bus pass, which can be used on any Nottingham City Transport bus!

Library services
The University's £13 million Boots library boasts more than 531,000 books, 2,800 journals, 9,000 eJournals, silent study areas and group study rooms. In addition, there are also dedicated libraries on the Clifton and Brackenhurst campuses.
ICT services
Our IT resource rooms and PC clusters are distributed across all sites, with thousands of PCs providing access to Microsoft Office, email, web browsing, networked file storage and high-speed online printing services (with a free printing allowance for each student). Resource rooms at both the City and Clifton campuses are available 24 hours a day.

All three of our campuses provide high-quality on-site accommodation in a range of furnished self-catering residences offering en suite or shared bathroom facilities. Nottingham also has a large selection of private rented accommodation available within easy reach of the University.
Sports facilities
Our students are equipped with a wide range of facilities and resources to help in their studies. The latest equipment is available in our teaching spaces while constant investment in new technologies provides every opportunity for academic success.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in activities ranging from sports clubs and societies to volunteering. An excellent standard of support is offered to all our students including financial advice, counselling, faith support, careers advice and help with accommodation.
Student clubs
Our Students' Union has been awarded Higher Education Students' Union of the Year 2015 by the National Union of Students (NUS), recognising the array of services and activities the Union offers. This includes everything from political engagement activities to a wide variety of entertainment and personal development opportunities.
Built in 2014, our City site Students' Union offers three storeys of social and leisure space, including a roof garden and sports facilities built to Sports England standards. This includes a dance studio, an 100-station fitness suite, and a 30ft climbing wall.
Accreditation
The School has received accreditations from a range of professional bodies that recognise the quality of our teaching and research. Students can directly benefit from associate membership to professional institutes upon graduation.
Biomedical ScienceThe Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS) has accredited both BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science and MSc Biomedical Science.
Students who complete these courses are eligible to apply for registration with the Health Professions Council after undergoing a period of training in an IBMS accredited laboratory.
Biological SciencesThe Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management has accredited the Ecology and Environmental Management pathway on our BSc (Hons).
