Services
Student services
We are a group of Services that are involved in your student journey from the time you start your studies until the time you graduate. We produce your ID cards, advice about fees and forms for your academic options as well as manage your registration and exam information. Explore the Student Services webpages to see how we can help you and make contact with us if you need assistance.
Housing services
The new campus will provide student residencies on site. The student residences will offer a range of housing formats from 6 bed and 3 bed apartments to private studio/family units. Ground level spaces for dining, social and study lounges, and related shops serve to activate the Serpentine Walk on the south side, and St. Brendan’s on the north side.
Library services
TU Dublin City Campus has six libraries, at Aungier Street, Bolton Street, Cathal Brugha Street, Grangegorman, Kevin Street, and Rathmines.
We provide a wide range of services, including the Library Catalogue, databases, and online resources, access to computers, and support.
ICT services
A fundamental characteristic of DIT is to provide a pervasive student-centred learning experience, and the use of technology is key to the delivery of this goal.
ICT Services will realise this vision through consultation and partnership with DIT students and staff, and with our Directorate colleagues in Staff Development, and the Learning, Teaching & Technology Centre.
Medical services
The DIT health service provides an holistic approach to health, providing on campus health care to those students pursuing full time & apprenticeship courses. Our service incorporates physical, psychological and social aspects of student health and health promotion. Absolute confidentiality is maintained.
Student Life
Campus life
TU Dublin is an exciting new milestone in Irish Higher Education. With campuses in Dublin City, Tallaght and Blanchardstown, it spans the largest population centres of Ireland’s capital city. Building on the rich heritage of its founding organisations - DIT, IT Blanchardstown and IT Tallaght – TU Dublin will be inclusive and adaptable, creating educational opportunities for students at all stages. TU Dublin students will be socially responsible, open-minded global thinkers who are ambitious to change the world for the better. As graduates, they will be enterprising and daring in all their endeavours, ready to play their part in transforming the future.
Sports facilities
DIT Sports facilities are now located at four DIT sites providing both indoor and outdoor programmes and facilities to DIT students, staff, the local community and DIT Sports clubs.
Our White Flag award winning indoor facilities operate as the DIT Fit2Go Club at Kevin St and Grangegorman. We also have a gym in Bolton St (Linenhall) and new outdoor sports facilities at both Grangegorman and Broombridge. In addition we are in the planning stages for extensive indoor sports facilities on campus in DIT Grangegorman.
