The service of the schooling of the IUT has for mission to ensure the reception of the students and the follow-up of their university life.
Housing services
Four possibilities for accommodation:
- housing in the city (student housing center),
- intergenerational housing,
- student residences,
- young workers' homes.
Medical services
The Department of Preventive Medicine is open to students enrolled at Savoie Mont Blanc University and consultations are free. According to their needs, students can consult a nurse, a doctor, a psychologist or a social worker. A secretariat makes it possible to make an appointment. The confidentiality of the interviews is guaranteed by professional secrecy.

Campus life
The IUT student enjoys the many benefits offered by the university campus as well as a privileged location. The IUT is located at the foot of the mountains, on the hill of Annecy-le-Vieux overlooking Lake Annecy, and enjoys an exceptional site.
The city of Annecy enjoys an ideal setting, which allows winter and summer to enjoy recreation and sport thanks to the lake (a few hundred meters from the IUT) and the surrounding mountains (ski resorts half a hour drive). In addition to sports activities, you can also enjoy the many cultural and recreational activities offered by the agglomeration of Annecy.
Sports facilities
The Sports Department of the Savoie Mont Blanc University (SUAPS) offers sports activities to students and staff of the Savoie Mont Blanc University.
Throughout the year you will have the opportunity to make outdoor trips supervised by teachers of Suaps (hiking, downhill skiing, via ferrata, climbing ...) but also training on several days (kayak course, sailing, tennis ...) and also sports nights (night volleyball, badminton, handball).
You can follow the lessons for your personal hobbies or play sports in qualifying training (allows to obtain ECTS).Student clubs
