Student services

The Office of Student Services provides a one-stop alternative to long lines and confusion; the convenience of having questions and concerns addressed in one location helps to alleviate some of the anxiety about starting a new course, or indeed the anxieties that continue beyond the first months through to graduation. Any student who encounters difficulties (whether academic, personal, health or practical issues) can be assured that the College’s support services are available to provide advice and assistance.

The Rooney library was established in 1993 with the help of a generous donation from Patrick A. Rooney. Situated in an elegant ensemble of Georgian rooms overlooking Merrion Square, The Rooney Library provides a comprehensive range of books, periodicals and newspapers relevant to courses offered at American College Dublin.

The Students Union at American College Dublin represents students both within the institution and externally, including on local and national issues. The Student Union is also responsible for providing a variety of services to students.
