Help for disabled students
- The Wroclaw University of Technology successfully operates the “no barrier” policy for all open and friendly, disabled students who undertook the effort to get higher education. Disabled people can count on professional psychological or psychotherapeutic help and on special social benefits. Since 2005 at the Wroclaw University of Technology there is the Rector’s Plenipotentiary for the Disabled.
Housing services
UKSiDZ is an organisation for students and PhD students of the Wroclaw University of Technology. It is involved in such projects as: opening days for foreigners, Christmas Eve meetings for international students or World Days – meetings organised to share the culture and customs from various parts of the world. There is also a regular event called World Cuisines when you can taste traditional dishes from various countries our visitors come from.
Library services
Center for Scientific and Technical Information functions both as a scientific and technical information centre and as a public scientific library. There are also branch libraries at the faculties, institutes, and other organizational units, which together with the Traditional Library and the Electronic Library form an integrated information and library system of the University.
ICT services
Electronic Information Bulletin for Students, it is intended for people who are interested in university life and in Wroclaw. There is information about events mainly for students and there are some especially interesting offers for the students of the Wroclaw University of Technology.
Medical services
Psychological and Psychotherapy Clinic
- It is a place where you are offered psychological counselling free of charge, it is meant for anyone who finds it difficult to solve some problems. So if you have problems in social contacts, in relationships, connected with family or studies, suffer from mood changes, take this opportunity.
Student Life
Sports facilities
As our student you can choose from a variety of sports to fill your free time. The majority of courses are free of charge, but for some of them you will have to pay. Some of the sports you can take up include swimming, horse-riding, rock-climbing, rowing, windsurfing, skiing, martial arts, archery, aerobics, body-building, mountain biking, rope climbing, paragliding, golf, voleyball, table tennis, basketball, football and rugby.
Student clubs
Also, there are many students’ organisations at the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. Students have the opportunity to develop their scientific and creative passions, as well.
