Services
Housing services
In a nutshell, as part of their tuition fees all fee-paying degree students receive an offer from LiU for a single occupant student room for one year. LiU aims to offer a large percentage of exchange students with a single occupant student room for the duration of they stay at LiU, but due to demand, it is not guaranteed that a room will be offered. All other students need to organise their own accommodation. Since exchange students are not guaranteed a room and fee-paying students on a two-year programme will need to organise accommodation for the second year of their studies – all students should join the queue systems.
Library services
The University Library provides a broad range of high-quality resources for students. There is one library at Campus Valla and one at Campus Norrköping. Besides books and journals, they house computer terminals where students can retrieve information from local catalogues, as well as national and international databases. In order to borrow books and use computers and printers, you need a LiU-card.
ICT services
IT security issues at Linköping University are handled by LiU's Incident Response Team, LiU IRT. LiU IRT is a centrally located function for IT security handing, information and cooperation, and preventative IT security efforts.
