Student services
As the hub for international student services and programs, Laurentian International’s staff will answer questions, make recommendations, and help students to navigate the processes and protocols required for international study in Canada. They can also fill you in on the numerous opportunities for Laurentian students to study abroad and gain valuable international experience while earning credits.
Housing services
You’re now a university student and chances are this will be your first time living on your own. What you’ll find at Laurentian are flexible, comfortable residences that will feel like home – only better. Here, YOU get to design your own lifestyle! It’s the main reason so many students – more than 1,600 of them – choose to live on campus. Our eight unique residences provide you with an array of options. Each residence has a different style and vibe so we’re sure you’ll find one that feels just right for you.
Library services
You will find your textbooks and school supplies, plus everything from pens to school bags, binders and official Laurentian gear, even cough drops and chewing gum. The bookstore is operated by Follett, experts in postsecondary education merchandising. They also custom order textbooks to your specifications, provide a book rental service, and offer online shopping.
ICT services
The Tech-Hub “Computer Store” is wholly-owned and operated by Laurentian University. We supply computer equipment to students, faculty, staff, departments and Colleges. Managed by the IT department, the Tech-Hub “computer Store” is conveniently located in the University Class Room Building just across from the entrance to the Class Room. Feel free to drop by during our hours of operation.
Medical services
Health Services at Laurentian University offers primary healthcare, health promotion and protection, disease and injury prevention advice, emotional counselling and medical care. Registered nurses and nurse practitioners are on staff during regular office hours, part time physicians are available by appointment and urgent cases are also accepted.
