Student Life

Campus life

We have three campuses in Western Australia, each offering a modern, vibrant location for study and learning. Our campuses feature up-to-date facilities including wireless internet, 24-hour access to computer labs, libraries with open study spaces outside office hours and a safe environment for you to study in, either by yourself or with other students.

Sports facilities

  • Modern, fully-equipped sports, recreation and fitness centres are located on the Joondalup, Mount Lawley and South West (Bunbury) Campuses.
  • Our students and staff are offered discounted gym memberships, social night team sports, facilities hire and community event opportunities.

Student clubs

  • The Student Guild acts on behalf of all students, providing services that aim to protect students' rights and enhance their study experience at ECU.
  • The Guild ensures that the university is made aware of student concerns and issues, and provides welfare and support services. This includes referral to other professional services, and assistance with academic appeals.
  • The Guild also organises social events and cultural activities, and supports student clubs and societies. Joining a club is a great way to meet new people and enhance your university experience.
  • The Guild provides a second-hand book service that buys and sells books on behalf of all students.
