Student services
Each campus has a local student affairs office. To ensure a smooth progress of your studies, please make sure you are aware of the location, contact info and opening hours of your own student affairs office.
Due to Coronavirus pandemic, HAMK has made it possible for new students to start their studies in the autumn as online studies from their home countries and arrive to Finland for on campus studies in January 2021. In addition, it is possible to pay the tuition fee in three installments.
Housing services
Usually it is quite easy to find a place to live when you are studying at HAMK. All HAMK campuses are located in small to medium sized cities, so wherever your housing is located you are never far away from your classroom.
Library services
HAMK library is open for all, and our printed collections are for the use of all clients. Our online library HAMK Finna offers an easy access to all material in library collections. The use of e-collections requires a HAMK user id. Visitors may access e-collections inside the library, with few exceptions.
ICT services
When you join as a student, you will receive a personal user ID, with which you can log in to HAMK computers and many different systems. We are in charge of the IT infrastructure and all of its services, including the functionality of equipment and systems, and we provide training in their use, as well as problem-solving advice.
Medical services
To support students' wellbeing, HAMK offers the services of a student wellbeing specialist, student counselling psychologist and coordinator of sport services.
