Castleton University
Castleton University has been dedicated to educating future leaders of Vermont and beyond since 1787. Today, Castleton sits on a foundation of more than 230 years of providing cutting-edge education through a highly personalized approach.

Student services
- Castleton’s International Student Office supports international students from matriculation to graduation.
- As the Student Government Association of Castleton University, we value being dedicated and knowledgeable representatives that serve the student body and surrounding community at large.
Housing services
Full-time, matriculated students are eligible to live on our 165-acre campus, located in the heart of Vermont’s Green Mountains. We require all traditional-age students to live on campus during their freshman and sophomore years.
Library services
- Castleton's Calvin Coolidge Library's collection contains items in a variety of formats, including over 170,000 physical volumes, approximately 200 print subscriptions, and online access to the full text of over 40,000 journals, magazines and newspapers.
- 208,454 volumes in the Castleton library and over 40,000 electronic journals
ICT services
- Each residence hall has at least one television in a public area. Castleton students can stream internet-based television services such as Hulu.
- Every residence hall is equipped with a data port for each resident, which provides high-speed Internet access. All residence halls also have wireless internet.
Medical services
The Wellness Center provides information and resources to support students’ growth and their development of a healthy, vibrant, and purposeful life.
Registered Nurses provide:
