Student services
The Office of Student Affairs develops programs and services that foster a sense of community, ensure a respectful and inclusive environment and enrich the overall student experience.
Housing services

Library services
The Library participates in the Louisiana Library Network Consortium (LOUIS). LOUIS is a cooperative lending program between the public university libraries in the state of Louisiana.
ICT services
- The Technology component of Southern University consists of three departments: E-Learning, Information Technology Center (ITC) and Satellite Telecommunications.
- Services include voice, data, telecommunications, e-mail, Banner, computer labs, Moodle and Web services to name a few.

Accreditation
Southern University at New Orleans is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award Associate, Bachelor, and Masters degrees.
