The College for Creative Studies (CCS) is a nonprofit, private college authorized by the Michigan Education Department to grant Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. CCS, located in midtown Detroit, strives to provide students with the tools needed for successful careers in the dynamic and growing creative industries.

Services

Student services

The International Student Services (ISSO) exists to serve the international student community at CCS throughout their academic career, and beyond. The ISSO supports and encourages cross-cultural exchange and understanding by building community through events, programs, and shared global experiences.

Library services

The library has over 60,000 books, 267 periodicals, 64 electronic databases, and over 2,500 videos and DVDs, 90 percent of which deal with art and design. The college's digital database, Luna, is available online for study and classroom presentation; please see Academic Technology for training.

Medical services

The CCS Wellness Center is dedicated to promoting the well-being of the whole student and the whole campus. The Wellness Center offers personal counseling, group support, health services, workshops and various student-oriented activities aimed at building and fostering community, inclusion and the overall well-being of students.

Accreditation
