Housing services
Upon arrival, an university representative organizes pick up service service at the airport or railway station and helps you to get to the university campus. There, you will be offered to choose a hostel accommodation on your wish. Single and double rooms with shared/unshared bathroom are available in the new-built hostel. All the rooms are equipped with beds, desks, wardrobes, bedside-tables, and central heating. Bed linen and bed linen laundering is provided. There is a shared well-equipped kitchen, laundry and lounge on each floor. A TV-set, fridge, electric kettle are provided in the most comfortable rooms.
Library services
Scientific and technical library of TPU is among the largest University libraries in Russia. There are more than 2 million books in Russian, English and oriental languages. TPU students and staff have access to online electronic research and academic resources of the leading publishing houses – Elsevier, Springer, Thomson-Reuters and many others.
Medical services
Special clinic for students offers the full range of medical services. There are municipal and private clinics in the vicinity of the campus. The first-aid posts are located in each student hostel. A doctor will offer you a confidential advice on health related problems and provide initial treatment for any illness or injury.

Campus life
The total area of all university buildings and laboratories is almost 323,000 square meters, just take a look at Campus Map. The Campus includes 14 dormitories and halls of residence for 8,000 students. A pearl of the Campus is a new 17-story hall of residence for Master and PhD students. In addition, there is the oldest Engineering Library in Siberia, including about 2,7 million books and materials.
Student clubs
International student club (Interclub) is the eldest IIELC student organization. It has undergone numerous transformations for the period of its existence. Originally it was the organization of TPU foreign students who were eager to have a good time, but then it changed into the informational and educational body that gives its members the chance to tell about their country and to get to know the cultures of other nations, as the Russians say “to show oneself and see the others”.
