Student services
The services provided within the University is an integrated units of infrastructures designed to enhance the delivery of services and support programmes that assists the University’s educational mission and significantly enhance the quality of life in campus.
Housing services
Student housing & college residence life at UPM strives to ensure that a living and learning environment is the foundation of its residence culture. Every effort is made to ensure that the students' residence life experience will foster their holistic development as well as being fully supportive of their academic programme. Residence life is a special experience.
Staying in a UPM residence is an extension of the students' university education, where they can benefit from all the facilities and services such as student learning centres, social and sporting activities, life-skills and peer-tutoring programmes.
Library services
UPM meets the needs of its students and the University’s research community with a wide range of library services provided via a main library and five branch libraries, which house a rich and diverse array of research materials and resources.
ICT services
ICT services manage the University's ICT infrastructure and offer a range of facilities and services to assist the UPM community with their ICT-related needs.
The University's intranet provides access to the Internet and other online resources including Library e-resources/e-journals and electronic Student Information System.

Campus life

Sports facilities
UPM is committed in producing quality students and compete with the increase of soft skills and sports. Thus, the University has provided various facilities and sports facilities to the citizens to provide convenience as well as to encourage citizens to exercise. In addition, UPM also provides modern recreational facilities to citizens throughout the UPM to maintain the mind body fitness.
Student clubs
Universiti Putra Malaysia aims ultimately to produce students well-balanced in both academic excellence and co-curriculum activities. Both complement each other in the process of developing responsive, proactive, and competitive graduates of excellence.
To achieve this, UPM offers a range of associations and clubs operating across the university, faculties and residential colleges. These associations and clubs provide a supportive network, and help students settle into university life and meet like-minded friends.
