Student services
Our Learning Support Team offer information, advice and guidance from application to graduation on a range of areas such as:
- Support for Disabled Students’ Allowances (DSA)
- Reasonable Adjustments (academic and assessment)
- Support with setting up your Non-Medical Helper support
- Obtaining up to date supporting evidence
- Liaison with academic and support departments
Our Learning Support team at both the Etihad and Wembley campuses support students in identifying the most appropriate solutions to potential barriers to learning. We provide an individual pastoral service designed to meet your needs.
Housing services
GIS has partnered with two excellent accommodation providers to ensure students have access to comfortable and secure halls of residence close to both campuses.
Library services
The libraries at both UCFB campuses are full of topical reading material that covers the aspects of all the degree programmes on offer at UCFB’s Global Institute of Sport (GIS). The libraries also offer a place of quiet to study, read and accomplish during term time.
ICT services
GIS features a number of state-of-the-art technologies on campus, meaning we have an onsite team dedicated to any technological problems that may occur during your time with GIS.

GIS students have access to UCFB’s two unique campuses in London and Manchester, which have the iconic Wembley and Etihad stadiums at their heart.
With impressive on-site facilities available to aid your studies, including stunning lecture theatres and seminar rooms, student social areas and cafeteria, library, media suite and quiet study zones, it is hard not to be inspired by your surroundings.
GIS’ global study hubs are located in some of the world’s most exciting sports destinations and will all play host to week-long GIS Global Summits around the world, enabling students and graduates to enhance their knowledge and expertise of the international sports industry.Sports facilities
UCFB’s Wembley campus at the heart of the UK’s capital offers a number of facilities including (but aren’t limited to):
- Wembley Stadium – the heart of UCFB Wembley campus
- The Hive, London – home to the UCFB Academy, Wembley
- Vale Farm Sports Center – Vale Farm features a number of facilities including a 3G football pitch, tennis courts, state-of-the-art gym and sport hall for numerous sporting activities
- Hendon FC – home to various UCFB football teams and a practical and theoretical teaching space for coaching programs
Student clubs
The Students’ Union’s role is to represent GIS students and make your time here as exciting and rewarding as possible. The SU is also responsible for student involvement around each campus, such as planning unforgettable social events and being the student voice and point of contact with senior management.
