Services
Student services
The goals of the Division of Student Affairs are to facilitate student development, celebrate differences, and promote civic and global responsibility in both formal and informal educational experiences. The Division accomplishes these tasks through utilizing best practices as identified by international higher education professional organizations to create evidence-based programs and services.
Housing services
While there is no residency requirement, those of us who work with college students firmly believe that living on campus has a positive effect on students' academic success and successful transition to college. There is longstanding research which shows that students who live in a residence hall for at least one year do better academically, are more likely to graduate on time, and look back on their total experience more favorably than those who never lived on campus.
ICT services
The ITS Service Desk is the first point of contact for assistance with services offered by Information Technology Services.
Medical services
FSU’s fully accredited Primary Care facility, providing a full range of medical services and outreach programs.
Student Life
Campus life
While Florida State’s beautiful main campus is in Tallahassee, the university is well represented around the state and around the world.
Student clubs
The Student Government Association is the student’s voice at Florida State University with three branches of the government–executive, legislative, and judicial. SGA budgets more than ten million dollars of activity and service fees each year to Student Organizations, the Oglesby Union, and Campus Recreation.
