The Student Body Government (SBG) is the major organization through which Gallaudet students govern themselves, plan activities for the campus, and work with faculty and administration on matters of general interest to the student body.
Housing services
- The Housing component covers anything related to the daily living in the residence hall rooms and on-campus apartments, Room Lottery, roommate changes, and most importantly, housing assignments. We believe that a housing assignment entitles the resident the opportunity to be a part of a living and learning community.
- We have six University residence halls and three Faculty Row houses totaling approximately 1,000 beds. In addition to the aforementioned residential facilities, we have housing at the Kendall Apartments where apartment units are available for use by families with children.

ICT services
Gallaudet Technology Services (GTS) provides essential resources, end-user training and support for academic and administrative uses of technology at Gallaudet University and the Clerc Center. Units that provide direct support to students include the IT Service Desk, media and classroom support, and eLearning.

Campus life
- The Gallaudet University Campus is a beautiful and historic place.
- The ninety-nine acre campus consists of over 2.5 million square feet of academic, residential and support buildings, and includes the Laurent Clerc National Deaf Education Center. In support of Gallaudet University's mission to "ensure the intellectual and professional advancement of deaf and hard of hearing individuals," long-term stewardship of the campus will ensure the campus setting is responsive and expressive of the rich relationship between deaf and hard of hearing experiences and the built environment—an emerging approach to architecture and planning developed at Gallaudet known as DeafSpace.
