Student services

The Student Ombudsperson Office offers a safe place where all students at Weill Cornell Medical College and Graduate School of Medical Sciences may discuss problems or issues. Concerns about situations that interfere with work, study or student life may involve a classmate, advisor, or instructor.  

Housing services

Finding a place to live in New York City  can be overwhelming, but the Housing Office at Weill Cornell Medical College makes it easy. Weill Cornell student housing ranges from dormitory-style rooms and affordable apartments to properties overlooking New York City's waterfront.  

Library services

The Weill Cornell Medical Library promotes excellence in health through access to information by selecting, organizing and preserving high quality biomedical information, making it available whenever and wherever it is needed, and providing education in its retrieval, management, evaluation and utilization for problem solving and decision making.

The health center's services include physical examinations, routine gynecologic care, immunizations, and disease management.

Student clubs

MSEC is an elected group of five students per class as that meets once a month during the school year. MSEC represents all medical students in all years and works to fund and organize school-wide student events and activities, as well as lobby and advocate for student needs. With annual budget provisions, the MSEC is a major source of funding for more than seventy student clubs and organizations. 

Accreditation

In March of 2018, Weill Cornell Medical College will again be visited by a survey team of the Liaison Committee on Medical Education of the Association of American Medical Colleges and the American Medical Association.
