Within the impressive architecture of its buildings the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna offers much more than a historical university environment and an unforgettable atmosphere. The Academy of Fine Arts runs two childcare facilities: one is the children's group Kakadu for kids from approx. 12 months to 3 years old, located in the main building at Schillerplatz, and the other is the kindergarten LULU for older children, in the institute building in Karl Schweighofergasse.
Library services
First mentioned in records in 1692, the Academy of Fine Arts is the oldest art college in Middle Europe. The library, however, is not documented prior to 1773 and the draft of the articles of the k.k.
