International Student and Staff Support Office (ISSSO)
ISSSO renders following services:
- Informational Support. Pre-arrival, post-arrival and ongoing orientations. Preparation and publishing of leaflets and guidebooks. Migration compliancy, orientations and point of contact (actual migration documentation is ran by other office).
- Adaptation Assistance and Emergency Services. Filling in documents, purchasing insurances, assisting students to banks, hospitals, police stations etc.
Housing services
All international students are accommodated at the University’s on-campus dormitories.
- Accommodation issues are coordinated by the School you have been admitted to. SibFU provides comfortable residence halls with rooms for 2 to 5 people, who share bathroom and kitchen spaces. Food should be bought and cooked by yourself or you can also eat at the University’s café.
- Living at the University’s dormitory allows you to be more independent and to make more friends. However there are certain dormitory rules.
- If you wish to rent an apartment in Krasnoyarsk, please consider rental rates and consecutive expenses. An approximate rental charge for one room apartment is 15000 RUB.

Library and publishing complex serves as an invaluable information source:

- Polygraphic centre High-quality duplication of the University’s scientific, educational, reference and other materials and blank sheets for its subdivisions.
ICT services
- The University provides unlimited access to inner information resources and the Internet both for students and faculty.
- 100 % of dormitories have broadband Internet, Wi-Fi network covers 90 % of SibFU campus.
- You can connect to the Wi-Fi network using the corporate account (login and password), that is also allows to get access to different information systems of the University.

Student Life
Campus life
The university campus in Krasnoyarsk includes 29 dormitories, 24 study buildings, a building accommodating the library and the university administration offices. A University Assembly Hall is to be put into operation in 2015.
Krasnoyarsk has been nominated as the host city for the Winter Universiade in 2019. The Universiade Village will be located at the University campus which is favourably close to the main winter sports venue Academy of Winter Spots. The Universiade infrastructure is partly in place, while the following facilities are yet to be built by 2018:
- a multifunctional sports centre;
- a first-aid medical centre for athletes;
- a complex of residence halls “Universitetsky” (three 18-storey buildings);
- a complex of residence halls “Perya” (“Feathers”) (four 17-storey buildings).
Sports facilities
- The SibFU sports infrastructure includes 3 fitness centers, 2 sports complexes equipped with swimming pool, 3 stadiums and football pitch with artificial turf, 3 ski bases, 13 sports halls, 4 stadiums, as well as 10 sports rooms in the residence halls.
- During their study, students of all Schools take a mandatory physical training course at the School of Physical Education, Sport and Tourism. The students are free to choose any sport if they pass a pre-test on the chosen course. In addition, students are engaged in sport sections with 31 types of sports to choose from. Every year the university hosts over 250 sporting events.
Student clubs
At the beginning of each academic year all the SibFU creative teams invite all 1st-year students (and not only them!) to enroll in a team, studio, or any favorite band.
We offer students to enroll in the following creative teams of the University:
- Bard music clubs;
- Vocal studios;
- Rock club;
- Theater groups;
- Dance groups;
- Literature clubs;
- Instrumental club.
