For more than 50 years, School for International Training has prepared students to be effective leaders, professionals, and citizens through experiential education and intercultural exchange.

Accreditation
SIT is a nonprofit educational institution and was founded in 1964 as the School for International Training. SIT is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (formerly the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc.). Inquiries regarding the accreditation status should be directed to the administrative staff of SIT.
