Services
Housing services
- The university has different places for housing. Where you will be placed depends on when you get your application in, where you want to be and whether you are graduate or undergraduate student.
- When you come, you will have to pay a security deposit on the room.
- You can arrive at any time to occupy the room, as the dormitory is open 24 hours, but it is best to notify the co-ordinator of your program or your advisor, so they can help you through the process of moving in.
Library services
- Our library is a university library and also a national public scientific library which serves the alumni, tutors and researchers of the university faculties in Gödöll"o and as a public library serves also the people interested in scientific themes of the collection.
- To use the library, you need to obtain a Library Card.
ICT services
Here at Szent István University we use centralized user management. It means the users can use the same identifier and password to access various IT systems. We call these identifiers SZIU ID. For SZIU students the SZIU ID is the same as the Neptun ID/ Neptun code.Szent István University is connected to Eduroam internet service, the global wifi service for academia.
Medical services
If you are an EU citizen, you can use your E111 card at every doctor's office (if not private practice) in case of emergency. Otherwise you have to pay for healthcare, but you can forward your bills to your insurance company for reimbursement, depending on your private insurance.

Sports facilities
- Szent István University founded the SZIE Sport Kft. to manage the sports facilities which are owned by the institution. The company has the opportunity now to ensure the services on a higher quality for the SZIE citizens and for the people in the region.
- The main goal of the SZIE Sport to ensure the background of the Sports Office, including the PE lessons and the freetime sport. From the incomes the company can develop the facilities and raise the quality of its service.
- Or goal is to satisfy the demands which appeard in the region and to make a more seductive University with the help of the sport.
Accreditation
The course was validated in Malta by the NCFHE (National Commission for Further and Higher Education) which ensures the validity of the ECTS accreditation at Masters level in the European Union – stated Mr. Stephen D’Alessandro, the director of Advenio eAcademy, Malta. The training is very intensive and it sets high expectations, but these conditions guarantee the high level and the quality of the course for the students.
