Brenau University is an innovative, comprehensive university based in Gainesville, Georgia. Since its founding in 1878, Brenau has expanded its tradition of providing quality higher education based in the liberal arts and structured upon Brenau’s nationally acknowledged values of small class sizes, personal attention to individual students and reasonable costs. Brenau University offers coeducational
undergraduate, master’s, specialist and doctoral degree programs as well as enriched single gender experiences through it’s Women’s College.
Brenau University is a private university with its historic campus in Gainesville, Georgia. Founded in 1878, the university enrolls more than 2,800 students from approximately 48 states and 17 foreign countries who seek degrees ranging from associate through doctoral degrees
Brenau has close to 50 student-run clubs and organizations, including a range of national sororities. In addition to helping students develop social skills, the organizations also instill Brenau’s strong sense of social responsibility, civic engagement and global culture awareness for life in a changing world. Office of Greek Life & Campus Traditions is located in the Owens Student Center.
The Brenau Student Government Association serves as an advocate for the student body and a sponsor for Brenau’s traditions. All students in the Women’s College are welcome to attend SGA meetings to voice concerns, share announcements, or get connected to resources. Students may run for officer or senate positions to give back to the Brenau community and lead on campus.
